Project Description
Opanidan is the first project of its kind in Israel, creating a national and green standard, in which approximately 100 kilometers of wide intercity bicycle paths will be paved, connecting the cities of the Dan Bloc, from Rishon LeZion in the south to Herzliya in the north. This transportation network will create an alternative to traveling by car and standing in traffic jams. The project will connect the bridges that will allow for quick and safe crossing of familiar roads, including appropriate signage.
Within the scope of the project, demolition works, earthworks, wet infrastructure – water and drainage, asphalt paving, sidewalk development, electrical and lighting systems, communication infrastructure, traffic arrangements, landscaping and irrigation, traffic lights, street furniture, and more were carried out.
