Infra 1 works involve the removal and construction of infrastructure for the Light Rail Transit (LRT) systems and encompass a wide range of civil engineering tasks.
This project pertains to segment 07 within section 1PLW – the western Purple Line of the Light Rail Transit. This segment is densely urbanized and characterized by diverse land uses, including residential and commercial.
Segment Boundaries: North – Ben Yehuda Street, from Mograbi Junction, connecting to the ongoing segment 08. South – King George Street, from Davidka Square Junction.
The total length of this segment is approximately 350 meters. The primary elements for execution within this segment include: relocation of existing infrastructure and construction of new third-party infrastructure (communications, water, sewage, municipal systems), supervision and execution of infrastructure relocation by third parties (Israel Electric Corporation, communication companies), lighting, landscaping, urban development, traffic arrangements, and more.
The works will primarily be executed during night shifts, with prior planning of traffic arrangements.
