Base MK 148 is located near Highway 4 and covers an area of ​​over 700 dunams. Soil and soil gas investigations were carried out in the area, which indicated soil contamination originating from fuels. Based on the findings of the investigation, the Environmental Services Company began carrying out rehabilitation work in the affected area.

As part of the project, the company was required to demolish existing structures on the site. All demolition works were carried out using the company's heavy equipment. Subsequently, using the company's owned screening and crushing system, sorting and crushing works were performed for construction waste, curbstones, asphalt, and the dismantling and removal of electricity poles, lighting poles, and other elements.

All of these materials were utilized by the company for reuse within the project.
