Olenik was selected to execute the works in one of the most asbestos-saturated areas in the State of Israel.

The asbestos is located on site, within and above soil piles covered with vegetation and other debris, as well as in soil sections at a depth of 10 cm.

Within the framework of the project, works were executed for excavation, dismantling, collection, and packaging in big bags of friable asbestos-contaminated soil, according to an approved plan by the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

Additionally, environmental and occupational air monitoring tests were performed, along with the transportation of materials using specialized carriers holding permits for hazardous materials transport.
