Project Description

"The Eastern Railway Project of the Ministry of Transport"

This is a grandiose project that has already commenced, with its southern section being executed by Israel Railways and its northern section by Netivei Israel.

The "Eastern Railway" project along Highway 6.

The railway will be 64 km long and will include nine passenger stations and 47 bridges.

According to Israel Railways, upon completion of construction, approximately 100 passenger trains will operate on the line, along with dozens of freight trains daily.

The project is part of the 2040 development plan, in which Israel Railways is expected to carry out approximately 300 million journeys annually.

Olenik's scope involves the execution of bridging and shoring works in the Qassam Interchange area and Nahshonim area (railway km 90+170 – 89+830 and railway km 96+440 – 96+370).

Within the framework of the project, the following works will be executed:

Construction of an agricultural bridge approximately 65 meters long over an existing railway track at Qassam Interchange.

Modifications to an existing railway parking lot at Rosh Ha'ayin North station.

Trimming existing ramps and cones for 5 existing bridges at Qassam Interchange using shoring walls and retaining walls approximately 340 meters long.

Construction of an agricultural railway bridge approximately 65 meters long over an existing railway track in the Nahshonim area.

Retaining walls, shoring walls, and concrete channels.

Agricultural road above the railway track within the boundaries of the statutory plan (TATL 22).

Water infrastructure for irrigation systems.

Landscape development and gardening.
