Olenik Group won the tender for earthworks and site development to prepare a new coal storage facility, located north of the Rutenberg Power Station site in Ashkelon, for the Israel Electric Corporation.
This complex engineering project includes:

• Slope stabilization above the coal road using gabion mattresses
• Construction of a gabion basket gravity wall approximately 70 meters in length
• Sub-base works and site development
• Restoration of drainage channels and catch basins to prevent internal combustion
• Rehabilitation of asphalt roads in the entrance and exit areas of the facility

The project integrates earthworks, stabilization solutions, drainage systems, and infrastructure rehabilitation – areas in which Olenik has proven experience in executing complex, large-scale projects.
